Our team included Becca Cotton, Jake Martin, Maye Strack and Rickie Berger.
Becca Cotton is a Junior History major and an Asian Studies Minor student at UMW. She currently interns at the UMW Special Collections and Archives. Becca plans on majoring in Library and Information Science and working in Archives.
Jake Martin is a senior History major at UMW who has a special interest in local history, Virginia history, and late nineteenth and twentieth century history. Jake plans on working in a local museum after he graduates. If he is not at school or studying you can typically find him volunteering at local historical societies, creating models, or spending time with his family, friends and dogs.
Maye Strack is a Junior Communications and Digital Studies major at UMW. Currently, she participates in the Cosplay Club at UMW and plans to join the eSports team come fall. Her favorite activities outside of class are working on her Project Zomboid server, building computers and compiling songs into her playlist. She plans to work with the Institutional Analysis and Effectiveness office in the Fall and to become more broadly involved with the UMW Community.
Rickie Berger is a junior Historic Preservation major and Museum Studies minor at UMW. Her plans for after graduation include attending graduate school to study Library Science with a focus on archival studies with the long term goal of working in the archival field.
